First Saturday Arts Market - The Heights
First Saturday Arts Market has featured dozens of visual artists each month showcasing their work in the Historic Houston Heights since March 2004. The market was at the forefront of outdoor popups that were trending nationwide at the time with one key difference: a focus on visual arts.

The 2023 Bayou City Art Festival—Downtown was held on October 14 and 15 at Sam Houston Park and along Allen Parkway in beautiful downtown Houston, Texas. More than 220 national and international artists joined 20,000 art-loving patrons for a dynamic weekend full of art, food, music, and entertainment. The Bayou City Art Festival is one of the largest and most prestigious juried Fine Art Festivals in the nation and is produced by the Art Colony Association, Inc.
