I'm Liliana Delgado, a versatile mixed-media artist fueled by a passion for infusing vibrant hues into my creations.
My artistic journey is anchored in the belief that art should be a conduit for joy and delight. Through a kaleidoscope of colors and mediums, I aspire to weave narratives that resonate with viewers, imbuing their spaces with warmth and vitality.
I was born and raised in Maracaibo, Venezuela, a country full of diverse cultures with evidence in its architecture and hardworking people. I'm located in Houston, Texas, a city that I call home since 2007.
All my life, I've been surrounded by creators. My father was an architect, and my mother was a seamstress who encouraged me always to work hard and express myself through art.
I embarked on my formal artistic journey in 2015, prompted by a desire to deepen my connection with my daughter through a mixed media course. Since that moment, my dedication to the craft has remained unwavering.
Currently, I'm honing my skills through art courses at The Glassell School of Art in Houston; I am passionate about exploring new techniques and concepts in my creative journey.
I find immense joy in painting portraits of girls, each adorned with vibrant hues that celebrate the rich tapestry of culture and heritage woven into every corner of our world. With each brush stroke, I aim to capture the essence of a country—its colors, traditions, and soul.
